Before joining Bluestem Health at our Health 360 location, Maxine spent over seven years in emergency medicine. She saw firsthand how limited access to primary care often leads to preventable emergency room visits. That experience fuels her commitment to making healthcare more accessible and proactive. “Bluestem Health is a place where individuals—regardless of insurance—can get the care they need before their conditions escalate.”

Maxine focuses on building strong relationships with her patients by involving them in every step of the decision-making process. “I often advise patients to advocate for themselves,” she says. “I want them to feel comfortable with the decisions we’re making as a team.”

Outside the clinic, Maxine enjoys DIY projects—her favorite form of stress therapy—and spending time with her partner and children, and their two lively dogs.
