Dr. Chau earned her doctoral degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed a specialized residency in Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1995. Prior to joining Bluestem Health in June, Dr. Chau had been in private practice at Capital Family Medicine in Lincoln.

As a Family Medicine physician, Bich Chau, MD provides medical care to all age groups, young to old, and for a variety of illnesses, such as annual checkups, flu, colds, infections, immunizations, diabetes, and hypertension. She enjoys the opportunity to help patients get well, and grow professionally in her role at Bluestem Health.

When not with patients, Dr. Chau enjoys spending time with her family. She is married to a dentist and has two children. Her daughter is a third-year medical student and is following in her mother’s footsteps. Her son is a recent graduate at UNL.

“I always knew I wanted to be a doctor,” Dr. Chau said. “I know that all that has happened in my life has helped to mold me into the caring physician and person I am today.”
