At Bluestem Health, we proudly provide two on-site pharmacies to our Lincoln patients. Our pharmacy team works hard to provide all patients with excellent care and convenience. Our partnership with Genoa Healthcare® makes sure we stay true to our mission. It allows our pharmacists to have direct contact with each patient’s provider, allowing faster and more accurate prescriptions.

Another significant aspect of our on-site pharmacies at Bluestem Health Family Medicine is that we are a certified 340B Pharmacy. Congress passed the 340B Drug Pricing Program in 1992. This program allows Federally Qualified Health Centers, such as ourselves, to provide discounts of as much as 50 percent of a medication’s cost, negotiated with the drug companies. Giving these discounts has helped us care for our patients here in Lincoln, NE. We also contract with CVS, Kohll’s Pharmacy, Genoa Pharmacy, Walgreens, and Walmart to provide these services to our family medicine patients.
