Tareq Alshareefi has worked as a Community Health Worker & Peer Support Specialist at Good Neighbor Community Center since 2016. Their mission is helping people helping themselves. Tareq works in the MENA Hope Division, which specializes in working with Arabic speakers from the Middle East and North Africa. He makes sure to follow up with their care providers on their individual medical conditions. They offer educational health and nutrition classes, case management, interpreter services, peer support groups, and English citizenship classes, among other things.

Bobbi of Bluestem Health is Tareq’s contact person for referrals. He enjoys her knowledge and dedication to her work. He confidently refers his clients to Bluestem Health through a program called MHI for healthcare provider follow up appointments.
