Adam Rasmussen, MD, solidified in medical school that family medicine was what he wanted to pursue. Dr. Rasmussen is focused on developing relationships with patients; a connection that lasts a lifetime. He finds family medicine very rewarding. He appreciates the trust that is built between physician and patient, and the decisions made together about the patient’s health and care.

Dr. Rasmussen is excited to be part of the Bluestem Health family of providers. Working with Dr. Charles Kreshel and learning from his years of experience in family medicine he feels is a tremendous opportunity. Dr. Rasmussen treats patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.

Growing up in eastern Nebraska, Dr. Rasmussen comes from generations of Nebraska farmers. His first interest in medicine came when he was in high school after breaking multiple bones playing football when he broke several bones. Dr. Rasmussen and his wife have three children at home: two daughters and a son. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, watching movies, fishing, and hunting. In addition, he is a lifelong Husker fan.
