Medication Assistance Program (MAP)

The Medication Assistance Program (MAP) is a service we offer to our patients, so they can receive their medication(s) for free through the pharmaceutical companies (if they qualify).

Maps are helpful, so is our MAP service at Bluestem Health! Just ask Isela, Patient Support Services Coordinator:

“The Medication Assistance Program (MAP) is a service we offer to our patients, so they can receive their medication(s) for free through the pharmaceutical companies (if they qualify).

Eligible patients applying for MAP must be uninsured. They need to be seen by their provider prior to the MAP appointment and the provider needs to have their medication(s) active in the patient’s chart before proceeding with MAP.

There is an administration fee of $20 and will need to be paid during the time of the MAP appointment. Patients will need to re-enroll with the drug company if they want to continue with MAP and pay the $20 administration fee annually.

Not all medications are available through MAP. That’s why we encourage patients to discuss it with their provider.” – Isela

For questions about MAP services, call Bluestem Health and ask to speak with Patient Support Services. We are here to help.
