Immunizations You Need Through All Stages of Life

Your age and immunizations have a lot to do with diseases and that is why it is so important to follow recommended guidelines.

Immunizations Through All Stages of Life

Vaccines are developed to help your body build up immunity to fight off infection or disease. From birth through all stages of your life, getting vaccinated can protect infants, children, teens, and adults from potentially harmful diseases that can be serious, or even be deadly. Our providers at Bluestem Health in Lincoln, Nebraska, regularly talk with their patients about the importance of getting immunizations throughout all the stages of your life.

Your age has a lot to do with contracting certain diseases and that is why it is so important to follow the recommended immunization guidelines by age put out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Your family medicine provider will also remind you of when vaccinations are due based on your age and health risks.

Immunizations Protect You and Your Family

Knowing when vaccines are due at different ages of your life can be a lot to remember. We’ve broken them down by age based on the CDC’s recommendations.
