Meet Molly

Meet Molly. Molly Petrik is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, CDCES, at Bluestem Health. With over 20 years of experience, Molly has joined a team that is responsible for providing nutrition and diabetes care to patients as well as problem-solving ways to best manage care with the Bluestem Health providers.

She would describe the team at Bluestem Health as extraordinary and she is pretty sure the diabetes team would say she is a little talkative and very passionate about helping others. Molly absolutely loves her job because each day is something a new opportunity from which to overcome and learn from.

Since COVID-19 has forced some new changes, Molly and the diabetes team of educators have been “seeing” patients over the phone, which makes some hands on teaching a little harder. But overall, she is very impressed with how understanding patients are and how well everyone has been able to adapt.

Her husband, Dustin, and two children, Caleb and Emma, are currently navigating distance learning and making the most of this situation at home. As a family, they spend most of their free time on the soccer field. Molly also enjoys reading and scrapbooking.

She grew up in Manhattan, KS, and attended Kansas State University for her undergraduate degree. She loves visiting family and friends and is looking forward to a trip back to Kansas as soon as it is safe to do so.

We are grateful to have such a positive, experienced person like Molly on our team at Bluestem Health!
