Telehealth services became available at Bluestem Health in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a healthcare organization we, along with many others, knew that no matter what, people needed to have access to healthcare providers and services.
Telehealth was and continues to be the answer to access in certain situations, providing online doctor visits and consults via a secure video. While we know that being seen by a provider in-person is always the best option, we feel that this is a great alternative and should be available especially in crisis. This is why we continue to offer Telehealth services for our patients.
