Routine Dental Services

A healthy smile starts with regular care. Our dental providers see patients of all ages for dental exams and routine cleanings. These visits give us a chance to check your teeth and gums, remove plaque and buildup, and catch concerns like cavities or gum disease before they become bigger (and potentially more expensive) problems.

There are a few other ways we can help protect your teeth between visits. Our preventive dental care can include:

Treatments to Get You Smiling Again

If we do find a problem, many treatments can be handled right here. Restorative dentistry includes fillings, crowns, and other treatments that can repair a damaged or decayed tooth. We also provide root canal treatment for some teeth and tooth extractions when a tooth cannot be saved. If you need care beyond what we provide in our clinic, we will connect you with a specialist.

If tooth decay forms a cavity, your dental provider may perform a restorative dental treatment. Treatments such as fillings, crowns, and root canals allow our dentists to restore a tooth with a cavity, crack, or infection instead of pulling it out. Sometimes a tooth is too damaged to save, or a wisdom tooth needs to come out. In these situations, our providers handle extractions on-site.

Emergency Dental Care

Tooth pain has a way of taking over your day. A cracked tooth, loose crown, or severe toothache can make it hard to eat, sleep, or focus on much else. When you need urgent care, our emergency dental clinic is available every Thursday from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM. The clinic is designed for dental problems that need prompt attention, giving patients (and those who aren’t currently patients) a chance to be evaluated and receive treatment the same day when appropriate.

We also want our dental care to be within reach for those with limited means. Our dental clinic accepts Nebraska Total Care and UnitedHealthcare Medicaid, and sliding fee discounts are available for qualifying patients based on income. Patients 18 and Under

If your child is covered by Medicaid and needs a dentist, we’re currently accepting new patients age 18 and under. We know finding a dental office that accepts Medicaid can sometimes be difficult. Opening our doors to more young patients is one way we can help more Lincoln families get regular dental care without having to keep searching for a place to go.

Regular visits can make a big difference early on. Our dental team helps children get comfortable with going to the dentist, catches cavities and other concerns sooner, and helps families build healthy habits at home.
