At Bluestem Health in Lincoln, Nebraska, our team of physicians and advanced practitioners works together to provide comprehensive and high-quality care for all ages, from newborns to the elderly. At our clinics, patients have access to a broad scope of family medicine services and programs, as well as dental and behavioral health services.
Developing relationships with his patients and having a connection that lasts a lifetime is what Dr. Adam Rasmussen enjoys most about being a Family Medicine provider at Bluestem Health Kreshel Clinic.
Dr. Rasmussen first became interested in medicine after breaking multiple bones while playing football in high school. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his Family Medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Education Partnership. He is board certified in Family Medicine.
As a Family Medicine provider, Dr. Rasmussen diagnoses and treats illnesses, and offers preventive care such as: routine checkups, immunizations and screenings, health-risk assessments, and guidance and education for a healthy lifestyle. In addition, Dr. Rasmussen manages chronic conditions such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and cancer.
Having grown up in eastern Nebraska, Dr. Rasmussen comes from generations of Nebraska farmers. He enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, and fishing and hunting. He is a lifelong Husker fan, too.

If you are looking for a provider and like the convenience of Bluestem Health, Piedmont Clinic in Lincoln, Kelsa DeGarmo, PA-C, is a new Family Medicine provider here to care for you. Kelsa grew up in rural Bellwood, Nebraska, and always knew she wanted to help people and to make a difference in their lives.
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State College and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Union College in Lincoln, she worked at a family health clinic for two years in Illinois. She moved back to care for people in Nebraska.
Kelsa enjoys connecting with her patients and being able to make their lives healthier. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and treating a variety of health conditions, from colds and flu, to chronic illnesses like heart disease and diabetes. She especially likes being able to provide her patients with patient education to help them manage their conditions so they can live healthier lives.
