Kelsa DeGarmo, PA-C, is a new Family Medicine provider at Bluestem Health. Kelsa enjoys connecting with her patients and being able to make their lives healthier. She likes caring for patients of all ages and treating a variety of health conditions.
Kelsa always wanted to have a career where she could help people and make a difference in their lives. Becoming a Physician Assistant had been her long-time goal. Kelsa received her Bachelor’s from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Union College in Lincoln.
After working at a family health clinic for two years in Illinois, Kelsa moved back to care for people in Nebraska. She has always known she wanted to work with underserved populations and that is why she chose to join the Bluestem Health team.
Kelsa grew up in rural Bellwood, Nebraska. She and her husband have two young boys and a beagle. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and watching Husker football.
